Odd Elbow
Originally I called this thing Odd Elbow at the Shutdown, but everywhere we signed up to play cut it off to Odd Elbow. Where'd the name come from? A random name generator, unfortunately. What a boring story. But hey, for years and years, I was too afraid to associate my real name with my art, and so 'odd' emerged as a sort of alter ego. And you know what? He did some great work.

and once the storm is over
This is undoubtedly my most refined and styled release. My lyrics are concise but fleshed out. The instrumentation is clean and full. My mixing, which I began on everything, always, is the most mature. All in all, I think the best songs in my discography are here.

ephemera: I
In between projects, I've always liked to put out a single here or there. Something to show myself I can still do music, ya know? Well, I think a lot of these singles are really good, and honestly quite underrated in the context of my discography. So I collected them in this little guy here.

everything, always
When I'm feeling down, the messiness of this album really gets to me. But, if I'm being genuine, I think I came into this album with the most creative energy of all my projects. It was the first thing I did completerly on my own. All the instrumentation, all the recording, all the mixing. And I experimented a lot, wrote a lot of lyrics, and did a lot of things that were out of my comfort zone. So while it's flaed in retrospect, it holds a lot of love in my heart.

Poindexter
A friend was in school at Blackbird Studios in Nashville and asked if I wanted to come record an EP. I had a bunch of songs at the time I was saving for an album (which never saw the light of day), so I recorded this set of... misfits. It's by no means my best songwriting, but the experince was enjoyable and the results are a cool amalgamation of a lot of different live musicians visions'.

Wannabe // Lover
I mean, I literally learned how to write music on this album. Like, I remember being 18 and going to my parents guest room every night to record as much as I could. A lot of these songs are drenched in the immaturity of the time period, but that's what makes it so authentic. I think a lot of artists have a love-hate relationship with their first work, and I am no different.
